It has a fully waterproof build, a water-repellent nubuck leather upper, and a fibreglass toe cap rated to 200 joules. The Activ-Step® Cushion Max footbed and an EVA midsole absorb impact on hard ground. The nitrile rubber outsole is slip resistant (SR), resists fuel oil and handles heat up to 300°C, and the rugged tread gives solid grip on uneven terrain. The boot is also anti-static and has insulation against cold and heat (CI, HI). Recycled materials include the lining, laces and heel counter, and the leather comes from a Leather Working Group Gold-rated tannery.
