It has a waterproof build with a water-repellent nubuck leather upper that keeps out rain and dirt. A fibreglass toe cap rated to 200 joules and an Activ-Step® penetration-resistant insert protect you without any metal. That keeps the boot light and cuts fatigue by the end of the day. Comfort is covered too. The Activ-Step® Cushion Max footbed absorbs shock with every step, and the nitrile rubber outsole grips well on mixed ground. A built-in PU scuff cap protects the toe from scrapes, and a YKK® side zip makes the boots quick to get on and off. The Wilder is also made with recycled materials: the leather comes from a Leather Working Group Gold-rated tannery, and the lining, laces and webbing are recycled polyester.
